G Edward Griffin's Foreshadowing Came True

Study the Economic History of Debt and what becomes of an Empire that becomes insolvent. G Edward Griffin has been warning about this for decades. And rather than our politicians listening to him, or brilliant men like him, over the past 50-60 years, they have led this nation directly the other way. One of the big problems of democracy is holding it's lawmakers accountable. They come and go with such frequency. Many societal ills take time to solve. (Assuming that a society wants to solve it's problems.) Trump probably had/has the best plan but his own Republicans keep resisting him - I'm referring to tariffs. If someone else has a better plan, I'm all ears!

Growing a big government has problems on so many levels - books have been written on the subject. Large government makes the citizens lives harder, not easier. Over regulation, taxation, highly complex laws and common business practices, etc. Big Gov't stands in the way of a prospering people, throughout the whole of history. And Big Gov't is incredibly expensive!
